A lot of important steps has been established this week in order to facilitate rapid progress through the coming weeks in regards to unit creation. The Knight and Weremole units have been fleshed out along with a Damage system which allows me to easily create new damage values and types for different units to use. In the future the damage stats will be able to be easily modified based on the units stats and whatnot.

I have also implemented one of the core features of the game, unit selection. In game you will be able to click on a unit in order to take control of it. Then, pressing SPACE (by default) will release control back to the (future implemented) AI and you will be free to scroll throughout the map to watch the battle or look for another unit to claim control over.

Changing volume settings and custom key binds will now be saved between play sessions so if the player comes back to play again they will not need to reset those pesky settings all over again! Sound effects have been implemented along with the volume sliders (they'd be useless otherwise!) to add more character using a program called SFXR to generate them.

I also worked hard to tackle bugs as they arose as well as polish the system as well as possible overall to make sure the game plays as smooth as possible and prevent issues from arising later on.

Oh yeah, did I mention the Weremole celebrates and dances when it kills a human now?
